HAMILTON DOMAIN BOARD.

The Domain Board met last night, at the usual hour. Present -. Messrs J. Knox, (chairman pro. tern.,) Salmon, Bell, and Jones. The minutes of the last meeting were read and confirmed. Survey oe Lake.— The Town Clerk wrote, stating that the Council had instructed Mr L. Oussen to carry out this work. Hamilton East Common.— The committee stated they had no report to make on the matter. .Sydney Square.— Mr D. Lees asked for the rightfor four years for grazing sheep on Sydney Square. Deferred till next meeting. Fencing Inside Lake Reserve.— lt was pointed nut that this fence was nf no use in its present position. It was resolved to remove the fence and cart it to the market reserve. Committees. —Messrs Bell and Salmon wore elected to the Finance Committee ; Messrs Salmon and Knox to the Legal Committee, and Messrs Bell and the chairman to the Recreation Committee. Cahting.—lt was resolved that the borough carter do all the carting for the board. Meeting.— Notice was given to alter the days of meeting to every fourth Tuesday in the month. Accounts.— The following accounts were passed for payment; —T. G. Sandes, £1 IQs fid ; J. Dixon, £lB 12s fid ; The Waikato Times, 12a; O. Harwood. lf)s;C. McKenzie, £2 2a fid; W. Peacock, £2 12s (id; Secretary, 9s 3d. Main Drain. —It was resolved that the works required for the maintenance of the Main Drain be carried ost in accordance with the engineers’s estimate. This was all the business.
