Waddington, the French Ambassador in London, lias arranged meetings with the several Agsnts-General in connection with the colonies being represented at the Paris Exhibition. The Morning Post urges Victoria to fortify the minor harbours, and establish coal depots on the coast. The Crown Prince of I rermany will spend the winter at Rome. The conversion of the French rentes has been successful.
