SPECIAL MEETING HAMILTON BOROUGH COUNCIL

A si’ucu.u, meeting of the Hamilton Borough Council was held yesterday for tlie purpose of electing a member to represent the Borough on the Waikato Hospital ami Charitable Aid Board. Present: His Win-ship the Mayor, Crs. Knox, Salmon, Von Stunner, Missen and Bell. The Mayor proposed Mr W. A. Graham to the office, and in doing so referred to his services ill that position during his year of office in complimentary terms, and thought the thanks of tlie burgesses were due to Mr Graham for the trouble ho had taken in tlie interests of the public.—Cr. Von Stunner seconded, and fully endorsed the remarks made by the Mayor.—The motion on being put was carried unanimously.—This was all the business.
