THE LATEST.
Received November 11th, 12,40 p.ra. (keuter’s TELEGRAMS.) London, November 13. In express defiance of the proclamation forbidding meetings in Trafalgar Square a number of the Radical Societies of London persisted in the attempt to hold a meeting this morning in that locality. In an encounter with the police the mob destroyed the railings of the sq-mro, but the police eventually cleared and encircled the square, and the attempts of the crowd to force their way back were frustrated. This afternoon a further threatening demonstration was made by the mob, and the authorities were compelled to call out a body of horse and foot guards to reinforce the police. Several arrests have been made, and the crowd is now dispersing.
