Thomas Baker was charged on the information of Tukorehu—native—with having on or about the 13th or 11th of June, stolen one bay gelding, value ,t’S, the property of the informant. Inspector Kiely prosecuted. Tukorehu deposed to having the horse in his possession at Kihikihi on the 13th nr 1-lth June. Chkksk Factory. —The meeting which was to have been held on Thursday evening, was adjourned to Monday evening at 7.30 p.m., owing to the wet weather, as the object of the meeting is to arrange the terms upon which the factory will be carried on during the coming season, it is to be hoped there will be a full attendance of sup pliers. AI.TOINTMKNT. Constable William .Tones is gazetted to be clerk of the R. M. Court at Te Awamntu, and of the Licensing Committee of Rangiaohia, vice Constable Ryan.
