Britrii.AiiY.—Sometime between Thursday night and Friday morning Mr Cashel’s store at Tc Kniti was broken into, and some clothing, boots, and fifteen shillings in cash were taken. The (tevennnent house, in which Mr Hursthouso resides, was also broken into, but nothing of much consequence was taken —only a couple of knives, wo believe. Thu tliiuvps ipust have done their work very quietly, for, though Mr Cashel sleeps in the store, ho did not hear any sound of the thief, or thieves, at work ; neither did Mr Hurstliouso, or others sleeping in his house, hear them. We have not hoard whether the police have any clue to the guilty persons,
