CAMBRIDGE.
Load to Cambridge, Oxford, &c.— Many portions of the road between Oxford and Cambridge require attention at the hands of the local authorities. Some parts of the road are positively dangerous, and particularly so after dark. A couple of men for, say a fortnight, would do most of the pressing work, ft is better to expend the local rates in this way than as damages for accidents to travellers.
