It is the intention of the Commissioner of Police to make a police gazette, .through which any important decision in the criminal courts may be conveyed to the whole force. ; The girl Minnie Searle, who was arrested recently for larceny from her employer, was to-day placed on probation for six months, it being understood that she would proceed to Napier, where her married sister would take care of her. John Godfrey, of Picton, is out for Picton seat.
