SUPREME COURT, AUCKLAND.
[by telegraph.—own correspondent.] Auckland, Wednesday. At tho sitting of the Supreme Court today, tho Grand Jury made a presentment, regretting the departure of Justice Ward. George Smith, larceny from a schooner, was sentenced to twelve months. A native named Ponia, for assaulting George Storey at Mercer with intent to do grievous bodily harm, was sentenced to nine months.
