TWO OPINIONS OF WHISKEY.
BOH INr.KKSOM.’S OPINION, I send you some of the most wonderful I whiskey that ever drove thoskeleton from the feast or painted i landscapes in the brain of man. It is the mingled souls of wheat and ! com. In it you will ; find the sunshine and ' shadow that chased ; each other over billowy fields, the breath of June, the carol of the lark, the dews of night, the wreath of ] summer and autumn’s ■ rich content, all golden i with imprisoned light, ; Drink it, and you will 3 hear the voice of men 1 and maidens singing : the “ Harvest Home,” 1 mingled with the ! laughter of children. 1 Drink it, andr ynu will tcel within your blood ; the startled dawns, the dreamy, tawny ; dusks of many perfect I days. For forty years ; this liquid joy has 1 been within the happy 1 staves' of oak, longing - to touch the lips of j man. I
A pkohiiiitionist’s OPINION. I send you some of the most wonderful whiskey that ever filled with snakes , the hoots of men, or painted towns in a cardinal red, ft has the mingled souls ,of corn and strychnine. In it you will find the moonshine that made the Marshal chase the shadows over Western hills, the breatli of flame, the whistle of police, the hoodlum wagon and thirty days in prison for thinking you could fight. Drink it, and you will hear the voice of comrades singing'• When Johnny Comes March in g Home,” mingled with the laughter of the boys. Drink it, and you will feel within your head a sense of swelling the boosy bliss of many high old sprees. For sixty days this liquid fire has beciv within the meek and raild-eyed demijohn, longing to scorch the throat of man.
