GOOD TEMPLAR CONCERT AT CAMBRIDGE.

A PRKK concert, or as the Good Templars call it, “ All Open Lodge" was held ill tilt; St. Andrew’s School, on Tuesday evening. Thera was a large attendance, Ihe chair was occupied by I’m. the Rev. M. Is vans, P.G., supported on the right hy Lro. Angus, W.C.T., and on the. left hy tiro. Chambers, D.G.W.G.T. The chairman opened the proceedings with a neat speech advocating the temperance cause, after which the following programme was gone through Pianoforte solo, Miss Webber, very nicely played ; song, “ Alice, where art thou?’ 1 Mr O. ( hirlaml ; song, “ I hirhy am. .loan” Mrs K. Chainhers, encored and “My Cove has gone a-sailing,” substituted ; duet. ‘The Wind and the Harp,” Miss and Mr W. Chambers, encored and last part repeated ; recitation, Miss J5. Cariiaehan ; song, “The little spring beside my Cabin,” Miss E. Forrest; Topical Flection song, Mr W. I’altridge, encored; recitation, Master I!, Ganiachan ; song, “Ruby,” Mrs G. W. Russell, encored, and last verse repeated ; reading, “A desperate remedy,” Archdeacon Willis; duet, “ () may’st tlmn dream of me,” Mr and Mrs t). tiarland, encored, and “I heard a voice,” substituted; dialogue, “Moderation exemplified,” Messrs J. McVeigh and Chambers, very well rendered, tiro. W. S. Stewart gave a short sketch of the progress made by the 1.0.G.’P. Lodge in Cambridge, and proposed a vote nf thanks to the performers, which was carried hy acclamation. The singing of the National Anthem brought the meeting to a close, a very pleasant evening having been spent.
