MR CAMPBELL AT WHATA. WHATA.

Mr Campbell addressed the electors of Whatawhata, in the schoolroom on Monday night. Mr Foxhall in the chair. He spoke for an hour and a half and was attentively listened to. His speech was simply a resume of his speech at Hamilton. Several questions were asked him which heanswered satisfactorily. Mr Dawson proposed a vote of thanks. Mr Loane moved an amendment that the candidate receive a vote of thanks and confidence which was carried almost unanimously. A vote of thanks to the chairman terminated tho proceedings. —(A Correspondent.)
