MR W. GELLING AND THE LATE PUPIL TEACHER'S EXAMINATION.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —A number of people in Hamilton think that Mr W. Gelling did not pass in the late pupil teacher's examinations, because his name did not appear in the list of successful candidates. The Board of Education have notified Mr Gelling that he has passed in school method, drawing, singing, and drill. Mr Gelling was not examined in any other subject, because he has not been long enough in the Board’s service. He attended the Hamilton East School, lienee this letter. Percy B. Stevens. Hamilton East School.
