[UV TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Owharoa. Pakiioa, Monday. The Smile nf Fortune Farmer and party tributers retorted a crushing of 35 tens of ore on Saturday for a return of ISOozs. of gold, value £2 12s per oz. There is a large quantity of the same quality of stone left on the block. The mine is part of the Radical, which is now before English investors.
At a meeting of the ratepayers of Ohineinuri on Saturday, a resolution in favour of borrowing seven thousand pounds was carried by twenty to three. There was a large meeting, but a number did not vote.
