CREAMERY FOR NGARUAWAHIA.
An adjourned meeting of settlers was held in the Public Hall, Ngarnawabia. last night, re creamery, when about 30 were present. Messrs Powell and Corbett, who were appointed at the previous meeting In canvass the district fora supply of milk, brought up their report. They hail managed to gel the promise of about 200 cows, but nothing less than 000 will be. snllicient, to supply the required quantity—viz., 1000 gallons daily. It was resolved to ask the Freezing Company if they would make a start on a guarantee of hOO gallons daily, to begin in November, as the meeting believed it was only a commencement that was wanted to get others to join in and make up the supply asked for, having the result of last year’s butter making before their eyes. Another meeting is to bo held as soon as a reply can be bad from the Freezing Company.—(A Correspondent).
