Mit Camit.ki.i,, mm of the candidates for the Waipa constituency, addressed the electors of this disti ict in the I’ublie Had, hero on Saturday evening la.-t. About-|0 people were present, who g.o e him a fair nearing. Mi Campbell went over much the same ground as at other places, lie was listened to with evident interest. Mr Campbell answered several question satisfactory but most of them were of a local character. The i|ne,sti„n of the. evening, was, “If returned would yon do your level best to have the seat of (b.vernmeiit removed from Wellington to Hamilton, but it brought no answer.
