MR CAMPBELL AT TE AWAMUTU.
TO THE EDITOR. Sin,—ln yours of Saturday, your To Awamutu own correspondent is responsible fur the following elegant (?) expression “Mr Campbell should know that he does not stand the least show at this end of the district anyway.”. For some time past we have put up with a large quantity of windy matter from “your own," knowing that his remuneration depended on the length of his communications. X contend,. however, that he should confine himself to reporting, and not ; inflict his “ opinion ” on your readers, espe--dally when that opinion does not fairly' represent the feelings of the district, but results from “ your own ” being interested in the return 1 of one of the .other candidates.
Apologising for thus trespassing on your valuable space,—Yours, &0., ; ■' Another Elector, .
