[llY TELEGRAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION’. 1 INVERCARGIL, Wednesday. Thk house of Thomas Davidson, fanner, Wyndham, was burnt down this morning. Nothing was saved. The fire was caused by dogs upsetting the lamp whilst hunting rats. The Insurances are New Zealand, £IOO on the furniture, ami £l5O on the house. DUNEDIN, Wednesday. A. and J. MacFarlane shipped to Melbourne, to-day,for exhibition at the Melbourne Agricultural Show, 20 head of Ayrshire cattle, bred at Taieri. TAURANGA, Wednesday. Te Kooti left this morning for Waikato, after a tour with a large following through the Bay of Plenty.
