HANLAN AND GAUDAUR.
[BY TELEGRAPH.-COPYRIGHT.] [reuter’s telegrams.] [Received July 25th, 10.55 a.m.] New York, July 23. The sculling match between Hanlan and Gaudaur was rowed to-day on Lake Calumet Pullomann, Illinois, over a three-mile course. It was won by Hanlan. Time, 20mins. 32secs. The men finished nearly even. Gaudaur was disabled. The race is described as a “ fizzle,” being rowed in darkness.
