FATAL FIRE.
[I!Y TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Hokitika, Saturday. A MAN named John Brewers was burned to death in a hut at the back of a creek near Rimu this morning. Three men and a woman had been drinking for some hours, when all left but deceased, who was too drunk. The fire was burning on the hearth and a quantity of firewood was in the fireplace when the others loft.
