SUICIDE OF A CLERGYMAN.

Hawera, Wednesdey. The Ilev. Henry Glare, _ Vicar of Twickenham, England, committed suicide this morning at Hawora Parsonage, whero ho had been staying as a guest for a few days. For years he had suffered from illhealth, and had coine to Hawera from his son-in-law's farm, near Opunake, in consequence of an acute attack. Last night he retired to rest apparently better than usual and in good spirits, but on breakfast being taken to his room this morning it was discovered that he had committed suicide by hanging himself to the bedpost. Deceased was 69 years'old.
