EGYPTIAN CONVENTION.
FRANCO-RUSSIAN THREATS. [beuter's telegram.] Constantinople, June 22. The - Turkish Government received on the 20th inst. threatening diplomatic notes from both the French and Russian Governments protesting against the Anglo-Turkish Convention regarding Egypt, and hinting at the danger of war if the Convention be ratified. Sir Drummond Wolff, British Special Commissioner, has agreed to extend the time for the ratification of the Convention by the Porte. THE LATEST. (Received June 24th, 11.50 p.m.) Constantinople, June 22. The time for the ratification of the Anglo-Turkish Egyptian Convention has been extended to the end of the Mohammedan festival of Bairam, commencing to t morrow.
