|BY TELEGRAPH—PIIESS ASSOCIATION.J INVKRCARGILL, Monday. J. Iv. Eea, late town clerk of Winton, has been committed for trial on a charge of forgery. He admitted the offence, and said he was very sorry for it. Bail was applied for, but on Inspector stating that other charges were pending involving close on £1000, the Magistrate declined to accept bail at the present stage.
