THE CRIMES BILL.

(Keccived June 13th. 12.15 p,m.) London, June 11. In the House of Commons to-day Mr Smith's motion, that the committee should report on .the Crimes Bill by the 17th inst., was carried by a majority of 155. The debate was protracted, and the cloture was applied to bring it to an end. Mr Gladstone spoke, and admitted tho paralysis of business in the House caused widespread discontent, but declared the Government was answerable for the state of affairs.
