THE REBELLION IN AFGHANISTAN.
[BY TELEGRAPH. —COPYRIGHT.] (rei'tkr's telegrams.) (Received June 13th, 12.15 p.m.) Calcutta, June 12. The latest from Afghanistan states that the Ameer, suspecting the loyalty of the garrison of Herat, is sending other troops to replace them. Two regiments at Herat have already deserted and joined the rebels. The Atneer has left Cabul to assume the command of the troops operating against the rebels.
