THE LAND COURT AT ALEXANDRA.
Our correspondent writes on Wednesday : —Now that tho Laud Court is over, onr township once more has returned to its chronic state of stagnation and dullness. The natives at Whatiwhatihoe arc nearly to a man leaving for Tauranga, where a meeting is to be held and plenty of kai expected, which is a scarce thing in those parts. The natives arc now counting* the costs of the late case, and are of opinion that they had better not have had so much litig.Uioii over the Aotoa block, as so many owners ;ire in it. Two of Tawhiao's sons arc among the number.
