Death of Mr S- Hughes.
Mr S. Hughes,senior,, solicitor, who suffered a stroke of paralysis at Cambridge, recently, died to-day, aged (50.
Ostrich Farming,
'The ostriches -have been removed from Kaipara to Mr Nathan's farm at Turaiiga Creek. Two died on the passage, reducing the number to 44. The ostriches are 1 in poor condition, but it is believed they will' thrive better On Mr Nathan's farm. '
