Pakroa, Friday. Maungakkri.—Some very good general dirt is now being grassed in this mine, and a large lot is awaiting treatment. Hollis and party (eight) are working in the Golden Point section of their tribute. The reef is about 3ft. wide. A large crushing will shortly be treated for a probablo good return. Waite and party are paddocking good stone from a small leader in the Diamond. Steady work is being done. A large quantity of ore is awaiting water for crushing. Rain has commenced, and much needed water-power will soon be available.
