Waihi. Silveuton , .—Mr Moore reports that he has driven on the reef for the low level winze at a depth of fiO feet, and that gold is showing freely throughout the reef, which is 8 teet thick. Maktha. —Water being scarce, only ten head of stampers are kept going. A great lot of dirt is awaiting treatment at the Union. Things are in statu quo, about 100 tons of good dirt being on hand.
