HARVEST FESTIVAL AT S. PAUL'S WESLEYAN CHURCH, CAMBRIDGE.
The Wesleyans of Cambridge and the neighbourhood held their Harvest Festival on Sunday last in S. Paul's Church, which was full to overflowing at both morning and evening services. The church was very nicely decorated with fruit and flowers. The Rev. J. S. Rishworth officiated at both services, and delivered very eloquent and appropriate discourses, taking his text in the morning from Deuteronomy 16th chapter, 13—15 verses; and in the evening from Jeremiah Bth chapter, 20th verse. The hymns, etc., were given in good style by the choir, a solo in " Sowing the seed " being taken by Miss Davies during the offertory, at the morning service. A social reunion was held in the schoolroom last evening, and addresses, songs, etc., were given by various friends, and a very pleasant evening was passed. Fruit was handed round during the interval.
