THE NEW BISHOP OF MELBOURNE.
(BY TELEGRAPH.-COPYRIGHT.) [REUTER'S IELECJRAMS.] (Keceivcd February 25th,.12.50 p.m.) London, February 24. The Right Rev. 1?. F. Goe was to-day inducted to the See of Melbourne in Westminster Abbey. The ceremony was conducted by the Archbishop of Canterbury and the Bishop of London, assisted by other bishops. A full choral service was given in the Abbey, which was largoly attended by the general public. Canon Cad man preached the sermon, in which he urged that the development of the church throughout the empire should proceed on parallel lines.
