The attendance was good and the weather fine, the wicket being in better order than on the previous day. The home team resumed their innings and were all out for 119. Moses contributed 31, bowled; McShane, lbw, 5; Midwinter, caught, 0; Garrett, bowled, 12; Ferris, caught, 1. In their second innings, the Englishmen made 103 for the loss of seven wickets. Bates, bowled, 24 ; Shrewsbury, bowled, 2i) ; Barnes, caught, 31 ; Barlow, caught, f>; Head, bowled, 0 ; Gunn, bowled, 4 ; Lohmau, lbw, 3; extras, 7.
