THE NEW ZEALAND INSURANCE COMPANY.
[by TELEGRAPH. —OWN correspondent.] Auckland, Wednesday. The annual meeting of tho New Zealand Insurance Company was held to-day. The 48th report stated that after a settlement of all claims, and making provision for all ascertained losses, and forward £10,000 to the investment fluctuation account and £10,000 to the reserve fund, and paying interim dividend of 3s per share in July last, there remains a balance of £18,J>21, 5 per cent, from which the directors declare a dividend of 3s per share, leaving £3'J3l 5s lOd to be carried forward to next year. The dividend is payable at the head office to-morrow and at- branches and agencies on receipt of advice. Messrs J. McCosfy Clark and Sam Browning were elected directors.
