We ivenot able to publish any account of them in this issue, but '•hall report thorn fully in our next. To-morrow the Matamata races come oil, and the-e doubtless will attract a large number of visitois. who are provided with a splendid opportunity of seeing the great Thames Valley, and inspecting the magnificent estate of Mr Firth. On Wednesday the usual Hamilton ChristmiH Sports will take place on Sydney Square, and judging by the entries and the facilities afforded by the railway authorities they will be successful from all points! of viow.*
