THE SENTENCE ON MR DILLON. [BY TELEGRAPH.-COPYRIGHT.]
[reuter's telegrams. I London, December 14. The trial of Mr John Dillon, M.P. for M.P. for Mayor, on a charge of intimidation, concluded to-day in the Court of Queen's Bench, Dublin. The judges declared the plan of campaign pJ< pted by the agitation was illegal, and that Mr Dillons language in the speech recently delivered was an incitement to disorder and to the violation of contracts. The prisoner was ordered within twehe days to find security for his good behaviour in his own recognisances of £1000 each, or in default six mouths' imprisonment.
I PHEhS ASSOCIATION. 1 London, December 15. It is expected that the Government will proclaim the action of the Irish Land Leaguers in inciting tenants not to pay rents illegal, and that any members continuing such action will be charged with con&piracy.
