THE CAMBRIDGE LICENSING COURT.

The commissioners held their court at n»on on Tuesday. Present : Messrs Gwynneth (voted to tho chair), Sargent and Hughes. The transfer of the license of the Criterion Hotel from E. Hewitt to Aithur Bach was granted. Transfer of license of the Duke of Cambridge Hotel from R. Kirkwood to Mrs P. Hapfin. Mr Dyer, for the applicant, applied under section 95 of the Liceiifing Act, 1881, for a certificate to be granted to thn owner for the remainder of the term for which the license wan granted. He said tho honde was now in the occupation of Mr Pancoe, Mrs Hagin having left, and if they would grant the certificate it could then be transferred to him afc the next quarterly meeting. Adjourned until uoxt day at noon.
