Information has been received stating that IS,OOO share*. in the Telephone Company have befn sold in London for £10,000 cash. The Telephone Company's ground include*, besides the old Union 13each ground, the United and Golden Pah licences. Foi their inteie^t in the former mine the local wlmp allowed IS, OOO shaies in the Telephone, but as they did not care to remain in the new venture they placed the sh.ue-< on the London market, with the losult already mentioned. The new \enture is now known as the Coromandel tioldmining Company.

Excursion to Kaipara. A number of gentlemen left for the exclusion to Kaipara to-d«»y on the imitation of Cuyt, Colbcck.
