The Coming Races. There wag a large number of horses on the course this morning, but the woi k for the mosit part was of an uninteresting character. Chaafe was first to commence proceedings by sending Derringer and Kingfihh, who accomplished two circles at a good pace, coming; home fast. The three-year-old stuck to his companion throughout and appeared to have a bit the beat of it. Nelson went twice round, coming home at thtee - quarter pace. He looks well, but none too big on it. Libeller, Silver Prince, and Lady Nor.i put in strong twice round, the trio rattling home in good style, and all rnovinsr very free. Cinderella strode three times round in an exceedingly taking manner, and finished veiy strong. Tetford was not out, and there is good reason to believe that he is amiss. Victoria also was an absentee. The latest introduction into the Auckland Cup betting is Fnsilade and he has been supported for a bit at 10 to 1, while the owners of Clogs ha\e accepted 300 to 15 about her chance. This morning 500 to 25 was booked about Pasha and Disowned for the Cup and Derby. Nelson is still the favourite for the Cup at 2 to 1, Waitiri coining next at sto 1. For the Derby, Dibowned is at 5 to 2 (offered), while in doubles, Cup and Steeplechase, Nelson is favourite for the first-named race, and Guy Fawkes, Belle, and Silvio for the Steeplechase.
