Thr first day's racing <>f thu D.J.C. Spring Meeting took place at Fnrbury to day. The attendance was only moderate, and was nothing at all equal to former spring meetings. The weather was Hue, but a strong wind blew from N.W., making it rather unc nnfortable. Sir J. V(»gt>l was present throughout the day.
