CAMBRIDGE DISTRICT HIGH SCHOOL SPORTS.
Thk sports in connection with the above school came off yesterday in tho Government paddock, and were in every way a decided success. Mr R. Wood acted as starter, and Messrs W. S. Stewart and J. Dodds as judges. The arrangements were perfect, and the finishes were voiy close, showing that the handicapping had been carefully done. Many of the childien's parents were present, and seemed to gieatly enjoy the fun. There were no accidents, and everything passed off with eclat.
