PROVINCIAL RACE MEETINGS.
[BY TELEGRAPH. — OWN COKUKSrONDKNT. | Auckland, Monday. At Dargaville on Saturday it was iinanimmibly resolved "Th.it in the opinion of this meeting, the rule recently passed by the Auckland Racing Club requiring not less than £30 added money to be given for each race is arbitrary, vexatious, and uncalled for interference wich the legal rights of the country clubs, and that the secretary of this meeting convene by advertisement in the Auckland paper* a meeting in Auckland of delegates of all country clubs in provincial district, having for its obiftcfc,,she formation of an association which arrange for race meetings being held without regard to the Auckland Racing Club." A strong committee was formed to collect funds.
