THE NEW HOSPITAL DISTRICT. Date of the Election. [BY TELEGRAPH-PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, Thursday.
The Governor ha*, in terms of section 9 of the Hospital and Charitable Institutions Act, 1885, appointed Wednesday, 17th November next, to be the day for the fir-it election of members of the Board of the District of W.iikato, constituted by section 40 of the said Act. Tha apportioumantg of the local representation of contributory local authorities under the Hospital and Charitable Institutions Act are gazetted to-night.
