Mr Barton kindly presented a bat to the club, and Mr Forrest, whose departure from the district is deeply rogrptted, some pads. It was arranged that there should be practice on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays on Sydney Square, but it is hoped to have one of the&e days set apart for practice on the West side of the river, to suit the convenience of members who reside on that side. It is to be hoped that there will be a good muster for practice this after noon/at 4 [o'clock.
