At Flemington slight showers fell during the night, preventing any fast work bein? done this morning, but the weather is now clearing up. Thore was a large attendance at Tatteraal's last night, and Hilvermine was made a firmer faroarite than ever. Mentmore has been backed to win £5000 at 100 to 5, and i* now quoted at 100 to 4. Lesbia is quoted at 100 to 5, but 10 to 4 is wanted. Silvermine and Sheet Anchor has been heavily backed for the Melbourne Cup at 100 to 4 each.
