BURGLARY AT TE AWAMUTU.

Some time on Friday night or Saturday morning, the Te Awamutu Railway Station was broken into. A pane of glass in the upper sash of a window was broken and the catch released. The burglars attempted the safe unsuccessfully but were rewarded by the discovery of ninepence, which was however not sufficient inducement to persuade them to remedy the disorder into which they had thrown the papers.
