Messrs Alfred BucklandA; Co. report.— At Ohaupo on Tuesday we had a fair number of dairy cows yarded, nearly all of them choice quality. A large number of beef were yarded, and sold at lower value than previous market, Not many storos yarded, and prices were higher 5s per head thah of late. Prices were, for pood dairy cows, from £4 to £0, according to quality ; pen of 2.^ year-old steers in real good condition, £3 10s ; empty young cows, at £2 10a ; fat cows from £4 10s ; for small cattle, to £5 12s Gd ; fur choice speyed steers, at £t> 10s. At Slorrinsville on Thursday we held our opening sale in our new yards. 310 Head were yarded, a large number of those advertised not coming forward. We sold on account of Jno. Horreli 13 grown steer-*, good quality, at £4 15s ; W. L. Or, t'3 ; steers,* £4 la ; Morriu and Stud hoi me, 7 cows, at £1 12s Gd ; 19 cl obe shorthorn yearling steers, off swedes, at £2 10s ; 2(> choice Hereford at £2 14s; 19 choice shorthorn at £2 10«; 23 choice Hereforl at £2 5s ; 22 weaners at £1 ss. Mr W. L. Orr, 10 yearling steers, qmet and choice, passed at £2 2s Gd ; 27 do. at £2 ; 15 do. at £1 5s ; 10 speyed heifers passed at £2 7s Gd. On account of other owners, 2 oxen at £3 each, and about 20 dairy cows at from £3 10s to £5 7s Gd. Seven steers, nearly beef, from Annandale, sold at £5 7s 6d, and a pen of choice three-year-old steers, grand quality, passed at £4 10s. After the sale we sold privately, on account of Jno. Horrell, 10 grown steers, nearly beef, £5; 40 two and a-half- year-old steers, Annandale, £3 10s; bay gelding, £23 ; champion drill, £15 15s.
