When " Dr Vivian," alias James Barn6tt, the ex-convict, who masqueraded in Birmingham as an American millionaire,' and in that character, married a young lady of Astbh, whh 'arrested for the hotel robbery at Whitcburch, for whioh he now stands committed for trial, the police said that in all probability graver charges would be brought i against "him. It now transpires that he will be charged with the robbery of £400' and' a ■ gold watch from John Isaacs, 1 a London bookmaker. Isaacs was robbed on WhitSunday 'night at the Victoria hotel, - Manchester, where he was staying to attend the races. Vivian presented a man at Aston, named M'Cullough, with a handsome gold watch, whioh .Isaacs has now identified, as the one stolen from him, while among the property belonging to Vivian stowed away at Birkenhead are £100 worth, of the stolen notes, which Isaacs also identified by their numbers.
