LATEST AUCKLAND NEWS.
Suicide. ' Auckland, Wednesday Night. At the inquest on the body of Harry Hall, supernumerary at the Opera House, who committed suicide by shooting himself in the head, the evidence showed that deceased was in a despondent state, in consequence of betting losses, and a verdict was returned accordingly.
Burglary. At the Police Court to-day two youths named Jones and Carley were committed for trial for burglary at the top of Greystreet. Dyer, who was also arrested for the same offence, turned queen's evidence against his companions.
