JUVENILE MURDERERS.

Indian papers report that in the Central Gaol at Nagpore recently a great commotion waa heard in the juvenile ward, which was in charge of a convict warder, who bore an excellent character, and was much trusted by the authorities over him. The head gaoler proceeded to the spot and found the door locked on the inside, but was informed by the boys that the warder had made hia escape over the wall. On the d,oor being forced open, they gave a more circumstantial account of the alleged flight, adding that the man escaped between 12 noon aud 1 p.m., but that they were atraid to give an alarm sooner, as the warden when leaving, threatened to come back and cut the throat of anyone who did so until he he should have quite got away. Four days subsequently, however, the youngest criminal, a mere ohild, confessed to the head gaoler that the warden had not run away, but that he had been murdered by some of the boys, who, while he was asleep, had dashed his brains out with the hammers used for breaking stones, and when he was dead had buried him in the mud floor, covering over the place afterwards with a heap of cotton wool which was lying about.
