Accident on the Railway. Auckland, Monday Night. An accident of a serious nature happened this afternoon to a man named King. He was caught between the buffers of the railway Carriages, and severely crushed. Constable Kilkenny procured a cab and took the man to the hospital.

The Out-going Mail. The R.M. steamer Alameda, with the out-going Australian mails for Frisco arrived this afternoon from Sydney.
